Andrew Luck, the franchise quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts, will reportedly walk away from football at 29, mentally worn out with the sport.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Saturday night that Luck has told the Colts ownership of his plans and will make matters official Sunday.
Having missed all of the 2017 season with shoulder injury and having nursed a leg injury throughout the preseason, Luck decided he was done with football.
“Andrew Luck is 29 years old. And ready to move on from the NFL,” Mr. Schefter wrote.
