ELKTON, Md. (AP) - A Delaware man has been arrested after his co-workers at a warehouse say he assaulted a supervisor and threatened mass violence.

Maryland State Police on Friday said 26-year-old Brian Knight of Newark, Delaware, was charged with assault, threatening mass violence and destruction of property.

Police say employees at a food distribution warehouse in Elkton called 911 Thursday afternoon and said an irate man was threatening to kill everyone in the building.

Troopers responded, but Knight had left the warehouse. But workers identified Knight as an employee there who assaulted his supervisor and smashed items in the building, then left with a threat to return and commit widespread violence.

Police arrested Knight Friday morning.
