PHOENIX (AP) - An Arizona Army National Guard outfit is deploying overseas.

The National Guard plans a send-off ceremony Friday at Papago Park Military Reservation in Phoenix for 25 soldiers belonging to a military engagement team of the 158th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade.

The team is deploying to an unspecified location in the Middle East in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.

The unit is the seventh belonging to the state’s Army National Guard to deploy during the current fiscal year in support of overseas operations and it is the sister unit of a team currently deployed and scheduled to return later this year.
