MARLINTON, W.Va. (AP) - The West Virginia Ethics Commission is offering training this month on the Ethics Act and the Open Meetings Act.

The presentation will be Aug. 27 at the Pocahontas County Courthouse in Marlinton. County and city officials and employees in the surrounding area, members of county and city boards and commissions and the public are invited to attend.

No registration is required for the program, which is expected to last about an hour and 15 minutes.
