As a video of Chris Cuomo launching into a profane tirade went viral Monday night, he won the support of an unlikely source: Fox News Channel’s rival host Sean Hannity.
In the original video, Mr. Cuomo is called “Fredo” by an unidentified man and then, in the space of less than two minutes uses forms of the f-word 24 times and the sh-word five times while claiming that “Fredo” is “like the n-word for” Italians. He also threatened to assault the man.
Mr. Hannity retweeted the video with the response “I say good for @ChrisCuomo.”
“He’s out with his 9 year old daughter, and his wife, and this guy is being a jackass in front of his family,” Mr. Hannity elaborated.
“Chris Cuomo has zero to apologize for. He deserves the apology,” the Fox News host concluded.
I say good for @ChrisCuomo
