BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Border officers in Buffalo say they seized nearly 260 pounds of marijuana hidden in a tractor-trailer that was supposed to be carrying clothing.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection said Friday that officers became suspicious about the boxes and their listed weight. An inspection revealed just over 257 pounds of marijuana.
The marijuana was seized at the Peace Bridge linking Buffalo and Fort Erie, Ontario. There were no immediate arrests.
