MANDAN, N.D. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a man who stabbed a vendor inside a Mandan Walmart.
Police got a call about the knife assault just before noon Friday and arrived within minutes. The store was evacuated and closed.
Police say the vendor was approached by a man he did not know. The suspect began yelling and swearing at the vendor and then pulled a knife. The victim received a small cut near one ear and was treated at the scene.
Officers searched the store but could not find him. Police reviewed store video and determined the suspect left the store before officers arrived.
The suspect is described as possibly in his 30s. He was wearing a dark hoodie-type coat with an emblem on it, jeans and a baseball cap.
