PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police in Philadelphia say two motorcyclists were killed in separate accidents and a driver killed in a third crash may have been drag racing.

A police spokesman says a 54-year-old motorcyclist was struck by a truck driver suspected of driving under the influence at about 1:45 a.m. Sunday in south Philadelphia. Police say a 25-year-old motorcyclist died after running into the driver’s side of a van in a north Philadelphia intersection shortly after 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

At about 11:40 a.m. Saturday in south Philadelphia, a 23-year-old driver went out of control and struck three trees and a guardrail, after which his vehicle was engulfed in flames. Police say he may have been involved in a drag race with another vehicle.
