President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani called special counsel Robert Mueller’s staff “sneaky, unethical leakers” following reports investigators for Mr. Mueller are saying Attorney General William Barr misrepresented the findings of the investigation, saying it’s much worse than what’s been let on.

“It makes the point that we’ve been making for two years. Despite all the media reports about how holy and sanctimonious the Mueller team is, they are a bunch of sneaky, unethical leakers. And they are rabid Democrats who hate the president of the United States,” Mr. Giuliani said Wednesday on Fox News Network’s “The Ingraham Angle” show.

Mr. Giuliani repeated his statements on Twitter, adding, “The NYT story about unspecified troubling findings in report is as accurate as the NYT saying Mueller’s staff didn’t leak. Who leaked this…Mueller’s unethical staff. This proves they are Angry Democrats who couldn’t find or create evidence to support collusion or obstruction.”

Mr. Trump slammed the New York Times Thursday for being a “fake news paper” and adding they “probably had no sources at all.”

The paper responded the accusation was “false,” tweeting their reporters “interviewed multiple government officials and others to gather the facts for the story.”

The House Judiciary Committee voted Wednesday to give Chairman Jerrold Nadler the power to subpoena Mr. Mueller’s full final report and all of his investigative materials. Mr. Barr said he would release the full report once adequate redactions were finished.
