MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - The mayor of New Hampshire’s largest city is seeking re-election.
Manchester Mayor Joyce Craig, the first woman to hold the office, announced Thursday that she will seek re-election in November. Craig told WMUR-TV if re-elected, she will continue to focus on fighting the opioid crisis, providing expanded opportunities for students, addressing the homelessness problem and bringing more jobs to the city.
In the November 2017 election, Craig, a Democrat, beat four-term Republican Mayor Ted Gatsas. She’s a former alderman.
