Authorities say two 15-year-old boys have been arrested in connection with the death of a 15-year-old girl whose body was discovered in an industrial area south of Los Angeles.

Samantha Bustos was found dead among some bushes in Compton on March 25, a day after her family reported her missing. An autopsy revealed she was shot and her death has been ruled a homicide.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials said Wednesday that one of the teen suspects was arrested over the weekend.

Officials say the second boy ran from deputies when they arrived at his home on Tuesday. He surrendered after deputies located him on a rooftop.
