MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Gov. Tony Evers has appointed three new University of Wisconsin System regents.

Evers announced Monday that he has appointed Karen Walsh of Madison, Edumund Moneydeeds III of Eau Claire and Olivia Woodmansee, a UW-La Crosse student to the board.

They will replace John Behling, Regina Millner and Ryan Ring. Their terms all expire at the end of May.

Walsh and her husband donated $10 million to the UW School of Medicine and Public Health in 2015. Manydeeds holds a law degree from UW-Madison and served as a regent from April 2010 to May 2017. They will each serve a seven-year term.

Woodmansee will replace Ring as the traditional student representative on the board. She will serve a two-year term. Ring is a student at UW-Eau Claire.
