PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Rhode Island’s lieutenant governor, already under investigation by the state Ethics Commission for his failure to disclose a trip he took to Taiwan last year, says there are two more out-of-state trips that he failed to report.

Democratic Lt. Gov. Dan McKee told WPRO-AM on Friday that he also failed to report a trip to the National Lieutenant Governors Association in December 2017 and another one to Philadelphia to represent that state at the opening of the Revolutionary Museums.

He called the omission of the trips “correctable errors” and says his reports have been amended and he will cooperate with the commission.

He says he will accept whatever verdict the commission decides.

The commission requires that state officials report out-of-state trips valued at more than $250 funded by outside entities.
