SHARON HILL, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a man shot and killed a woman and wounded her 11-month-old son before turning the gun on himself over the weekend in southeastern Pennsylvania.

The Delaware County Daily Times reports that the bodies of the two adults and the wounded child were found Saturday afternoon in a Sharon Hill home.

Police chief Richard Herron Jr. said the deaths of 18-year-old Shekierrah Adams of Philadelphia and 23-year-old Raquill Holland of Sharon Hill were ruled a murder-suicide, respectively.

Herron said the boy had gunshot wounds to his left thigh and abdomen and was in stable condition at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Authorities said it’s possible that Adams may have been holding her son during the gunfire, and the father may have believed he had killed his son.
