CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Authorities say three people were killed and two more were injured in a crash west of Cheyenne.

The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports that Wyoming Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 9 p.m. Friday at milepost 7 on Wyoming Highway 210.

Authorities say Cheyenne resident Jason Hanson was driving a 2002 Ford Mustang in the westbound lane when he allegedly crossed over into the eastbound lanes and struck a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Jerry Hoover of Cheyenne.

Hoover and his passenger, Cheyenne resident Jana Garton, both died at the scene. Hanson’s passenger, Seth O’Dell of Cheyenne, also died.

Authorities say Hanson also hit a 2012 Harley driven by Andrew Hrasky. Hanson and Hrasky were transported to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Hrasky was then airlifted to Colorado for additional care.

The crash is under investigation.
