President Trump said Monday that special counsel Robert Mueller’s report finding his staff would ignore his directives was incorrect.

“Nobody disobeys my orders,” the president said to a pool of reporters during the White House’s annual Easter Egg Roll.

Mr. Trump’s claim contradicts Mr. Mueller’s recently released report on his investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election, which stated former White House counsel’s Don McGahn’s refusal to carry out the president’s orders may have possibly protected him from obstruction of justice charges.

Mr. Trump, who spoke directly to the press for the first time since the Mueller report was released Thursday, said he is “not even a little bit” worried about a potential impeachment.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the Democratic Caucus will hold a conference call Monday to discuss whether to pursue impeachment of the president over what was found in Mr. Mueller’s report.
