CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Democratic Rep. Annie Kuster will be announcing the winners of a congressional art competition.
The winners will be named Monday at a 6 p.m. reception hosted by Kuster at the Kimball Jenkins Carriage House in Concord. Along with recognizing the winners, Kuster will present certificates to other Second District students who participated in the competition.
The competition is an annual event in which members of Congress sponsor a nationwide high school visual art competition. Students across the country submit art work for the chance to have it displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building. Kuster has taken part in the competition since she took office in 2013.
