JUNIUS, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities are continuing to investigate an accident in upstate New York that killed a 6-year-old girl and injured two other young children.
State police say 26-year-old Mary Taylor, of Seneca Falls, was attempting to turn onto a road in Junius when her minivan was struck from behind by a flatbed truck. It happened just after 4 p.m. Saturday.
State police say Taylor’s daughter, Camyra Watts, was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. Taylor’s two other daughters, an 11-month-old and a 3-year-old, were hospitalized for serious injuries.
The mother was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
