AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) - A New England Patriots’ Super Bowl trophy is heading to the Maine Statehouse.

Maine Democratic Gov. Janet Mills is set to welcome the Super Bowl LIII Lombardi trophy Friday afternoon for a public viewing.

Mills’ office said the Patriots’ defensive end Derek Rivers along with team mascot “Pat Patriot” and a Patriots cheerleader will join her.

Rivers is a native of Augusta and was the football team’s third round draft pick in 2017.
