President Trump said Wednesday he will attend a Washington Redskins game and praised owner Daniel Snyder.
In an interview with radio station WMAL, the home of conservative talk on D.C. airwaves, Trump said the Redskins have a good team and that Snyder has done a “very good job.”
“Actually the owner is — he’s a really good guy,” Trump said, according to CBS News’ Arden Farhi. “He’s been a supporter and he’s done a very good job. You have a good team.”
Farhi did not specify when Trump plans to attend a game.
.@realDonaldTrump tells @WMALDC he’ll go to a @Redskins game. And adds this about owner Dan Snyder: “And actually the owner is - he’s really a good guy. He’s been a supporter and he’s done a very good job. You have a good team.”

Snyder, who purchased the Redskins in 1999, has been a supporter of Trump. He donated $1 million to his inaugural committee on Dec. 16, 2016.
The Redskins went 7-9 last season. They open the 2019 season in Philadelphia and reportedly make their home debut in Week 2 against the New York Giants.
