Tiger Woods looked poised to make a back nine charge at Augusta National Friday afternoon, but Mother Nature got in the way.

The 14-time major champion made birdie at the 9th hole to turn in one-under 35, narrowly missed a long birdie putt at the 10th, then followed it up by making the only birdie of the day so far at the difficult par 4 11th before play was suspended at 5:05 p.m. eastern.

Woods will have a birdie putt from inside 10 feet when play resumes after an excellent tee shot at par 3 12th, and has two more par 5s to play. Woods currently sits in a tie for 10th place, three shots behind leaders Francesco Molinari, Jason Day, and Brooks Koepka at 4-under.
