SEATTLE (AP) - A man accused of randomly shooting at cars and a public bus in Seattle, leaving two people dead and two injured, has pleaded not guilty to murder and attempted murder charges.
SeattlePI.com reports Tad-Michael Norman pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder in King County Superior Court Thursday.
Police say Norman shot and injured a schoolteacher driving on March 27, then fired into a King County Metro bus, wounding the driver.
Police say Norman then fatally shot another driver identified as Robert Hassan and fled in Hassan’s car, crashing head-on into another vehicle. That vehicle’s driver, Richard Lee, was killed. Several days later police say another woman told police Norman had fired at her as well.
Court documents say Norman told police that he was in an alcoholic blackout and didn’t remember doing it. Norman remains held without bail.
