DOVER, N.H. (AP) - A man arrested in connection with the shooting death of a woman last year in Rochester, New Hampshire, is facing arraignment.

Attorney General Gordon MacDonald said a warrant was issued on charges of second-degree murder for 19-year-old Justin Belanger. He recently was released from prison in Maine after serving a sentence on an unrelated charge.

Belanger’s arraignment was scheduled for Friday in Strafford County Superior Court. It wasn’t immediately known if he had an attorney who could address the New Hampshire case.

Authorities said 24-year-old Billy Ahearn, of Rochester, was shot while walking last June. She died of a single gunshot wound.
