Rep. Brendan Boyle said Tuesday night that senior White House adviser Stephen Miller is a “scumbag” who “disgusts” him after a past viral video of Mr. Miller resurfaced.

The video shows Mr. Miller during a speech in high school asking his classmates if they are “sick and tired of being told to pick up” trash when “we have plenty of janitors who are paid to do it for us.”

In response, the Pennsylvania Democrat said his father was a janitor who “took pride in his work,” adding Mr. Miller is a “scumbag.”

The video first went viral in 2017 after being released by The Washington Post, with one of his former classmates claiming he was “boo’d off stage” for the speech.

The congressman is not the only lawmaker to blast Mr. Miller this week. Rep. Ilhan Omar, Minnesota Democrat, on Monday called him a white nationalist after reports said Mr. Miller was the driving force behind President Trump’s move to go in a “tougher direction” for nominating the head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

These calls against Mr. Miller, who is Jewish, led to renewed accusations that the freshman congresswoman is anti-Semitic.
