HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) - A Connecticut college student who was also the son of one of the school’s top administrators has been killed while riding his bicycle.
Quinnipiac (KWIHN’-ih-pee-ak) University President Judy Olian said in an email to the school community that 23-year-old Anthony Massaro, of Wethersfield, was killed in an off-campus bicycling accident Thursday night.
Massaro is the son of Linda Massaro, associate vice president and campaign director in the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs.
Olian called the death “a terrible loss for Anthony’s family and friends, and for our community.”
Massaro was a sophomore philosophy major at the Hamden-based university.
