A new video by the Republican National Committee garnered nearly 120,000 YouTube views within hours over the “Crazytown” atmosphere created by left-wing lawmakers.

The RNC’s “The Left is Crazytown” ad caught fire on social media Thursday for positing that protests at the Senate confirmation hearing of Judge Brett Kavanaugh are the logical result of “uprising” rhetoric by liberal politicians.

“Get up in the face of congresspeople,” New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker says in the video, which features similar comments by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Maxine Waters of California.

Footage of screaming protesters being taken away by police officers are spliced with a June press conference in which Ms. Pelosi told reporters, “I just don’t even know why there aren’t uprisings all over the country, and maybe there will be when people realize that this is [an immigration] policy that they defend. It’s a horrible thing, and I don’t see any prospect for legislation here.”

Nearly 150 people have been arrested this week as President Trump’s pick for the U.S. Supreme Court has gone through the confirmation process.

“While people inside the beltway focus on palace intrigue and anonymous quotes, this ad focuses on what the media will not: Democrats have gone crazy and aren’t hiding it,” RNC spokesman Steve Guest told The Daily Wire. “Republicans will continue to deliver for American people while Democrats have become completely unhinged.”
