SAINT-QUENTIN-EN-YVELINES, France (AP) - The Latest on the Ryder Cup at Le Golf National (all times local):
8:10 p.m.
A spectator was hospitalized after being hit on the head by a golf ball following an errant drive by Brooks Koepka on the opening day at the Ryder Cup.
The incident took place at the sixth hole at Le Golf National, during the morning fourballs. The spectator was assessed by the medical team at the course and taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The European Tour says she wasn’t seriously injured.

7:15 p.m.
Tiger Woods will be back on the course for Day 2 of the Ryder Cup.
In a rematch, no less.
Woods will team with Patrick Reed for Saturday morning fourballs, facing Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood for the second time. The European duo handed Woods and Reed the only American loss of Friday fourballs and picked up another point as part of a historic sweep of the afternoon foursomes.
The remaining fourball matches are: Rory McIlroy and Sergio Garcia (Europe) vs. Tony Finau and Brooks Koepka (U.S.); Paul Casey and Tyrrell Hatton (Europe) vs. Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler (U.S.); and Ian Poulter and Jon Rahm (Europe) vs. Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas (U.S.).
Europe leads 5-3 after its 4-0 rout of the Friday foursomes. Woods and Reed did not play in that session.

Europe has pulled off a historic performance at the Ryder Cup.
The home team completed its first shutout in any session since 1989 and its first sweep in foursomes.
Just like that, Europe turned a 3-1 deficit after Friday morning fourballs into a 5-3 lead heading to Saturday.
Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson pulled off a 3-and-2 win over Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler. Rory McIlroy and Ian Poulter romped to a 4-and-2 victory over Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson. Sergio Garcia and Alex Noren blew out Phil Mickelson and Bryson DeChambeau 5-and-4. Finally, Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood crushed Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas 5-and-4.

My, how things have changed in the afternoon session at the Ryder Cup.
The Americans grabbed a lead in the opening session, but the scoreboard at Le Golf National was filled with blue - Europe’s color - during the Friday foursomes.
Sergio Garcia and Alex Noren are 6-up though eight holes on Phil Mickelson and Bryson DeChambeau. Henrik Stenson and Justin Rose are 5-up through 11 holes against Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler. The other two matches are a bit closer, but Tommy Fleetwood and Francesco Molinari are 3-up against Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas, while Rory McIlroy and Ian Poulter hold a 2-up advantage over Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson.
The U.S. team went into the afternoon with a 3-1 edge.

Rory McIlroy was the only player to not make a birdie in the morning foursomes at the Ryder Cup, and he has gotten off to a bad start in the afternoon foursomes.
McIlroy and Ian Poulter, who sat out the fourballs, have slipped to 2-down against Webb Simpson and Bubba Watson after five holes of the foursomes at Le Golf National. It is the only match the Americans are leading.
The Europeans are 2-up in two of the matches.

The United States has a 3-1 lead after the opening session of the Ryder Cup.
Jordan Spieth rolled in a testy 3-footer for par at the 18th hole to close out a 1-up victory over Paul Casey and Tyrrell Hatton.
Also earning points for the Americans: Brooks Koepka and Tony Finau pulled off an improbable 1-up triumph over Justin Rose and Jon Rahm, while Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler cruised to a 4-and-2 victory over Rory McIlroy and Thorbjorn Olesen.
Coming off a victory at the Tour Championship, Tiger Woods lost in his first Ryder Cup appearance since 2012. He and Patrick Reed dropped a 3-and-1 decision to Tommy Fleetwood and British Open champion Francesco Molinari.
Woods’ career record in the Ryder Cup dropped to 13-18-3.
While the Americans have the edge, the Europeans are used to coming from behind. They haven’t led after an opening session since 2006.

Tiger Woods is sitting out the afternoon foursomes on the opening day of the Ryder Cup. Rory McIlroy will play, though, despite not making a birdie in his loss in the fourballs.

Tony Finau and Brooks Koepka have secured a second point for the United States in the Ryder Cup after the European pairing of Justin Rose and Jon Rahm faltered on the 18th hole after having led for most of their fourballs match.
Rose and Rahm had been 2-up midway through the match but Finau birdied No. 16 to square it. Koepka then snatched the point with par on No. 18, the only time the Americans were ahead.

12:50 a.m.
Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler have given the United States the first point of the Ryder Cup.
The Americans closed out the 4-and-2 victory over Rory McIlroy and Thorbjorn Olesen without even having to finish the par-3 16th.
With a huge crowd cheering on the Europeans at Le Golf National, Johnson stuck his tee shot about 4 feet from the flag.
After Olesen and McIlroy both missed longer birdie putts, the Europeans conceded the hole to close out the fourballs match.
The other three matches are coming right down to the wire.

11:45 a.m.
The fourballs are headed to the back nine at the Ryder Cup, and all the matches are in the balance.
In a 40-minute swing at Le Golf National, the United States went from being down in three matches to being up in three.
Justin Rose provided one of the highlights of the morning when he chipped in from 15 yards from the rough at No. 12. He celebrated with a double fist-pump . Rose and Jon Rahm were 1-up for Europe against Brooks Koepka and Tony Finau through 13 holes.
Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler were turning their match around against Rory McIlroy and Thorbjorn Olesen, winning three of four holes to go from 1-down to 2-up through 12 holes.

10:55 a.m.
Jordan Spieth and Jon Rahm are firing up their teams at the Ryder Cup.
Spieth has birdied five of the first seven holes, basically turning partner Justin Thomas into a bystander and giving the Americans a 3-up lead in their fourballs match against Paul Casey and Tyrrell Hatton.
After Spieth knocked in a birdie from the fringe at No. 7, Thomas retrieved the ball from the cup and flipped it to his partner.
In the opening match, Rahm is paired with Justin Rose and playing like a veteran in his Ryder Cup debut. The 23-year-old Spaniard made a 12-footer for birdie at No. 8, pumping his fist and drawing some of the biggest cheers of the morning at Le Golf National.
Rahm and Rose are 2-up at the halfway point against Tony Finau and Brooks Koepka.
Finau got off to a shaky start in his first Ryder Cup, nearly knocking his opening shot into the water and driving out of bounds at No. 7. Koepka appeared shaken after hitting a fan with a drive at the seventh.
The other two matches are all-square.

Tiger Woods is on the course at the Ryder Cup for the first time since 2012.
Coming off his first victory in more than five years in the Tour Championship, Woods received a warm round of applause from the pro-European crowd when introduced at the first tee with teammate Patrick Reed. They are facing Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood in the anchor match of Friday morning fourballs.
After Woods settled for par at the first hole, Molinari put the Europeans ahead with a birdie.
Woods answered at the par-3 second, evening the match with a tee shot to about 6 feet and a conceded birdie.
The Ryder Cup is one of the few mediocre marks on Woods’ career. He has a 13-17-3 record while playing on just one winning team in seven appearances.

Ryder Cup rookie Tony Finau got the honor of hitting the first shot at Le Golf National.
He was a little too pumped up.
Teeing off with a 3-iron, Finau drove his ball to the edge of the water at No. 1, leading to a bogey. The 29-year-old American turned to his playing partner, Brooks Koepka, with a look of disbelief.
“Wow,” Finau mouthed.
Justin Rose gave Europe a quick lead with a brilliant approach that stopped about 3 feet from the cup, resulting in a birdie putt that was little more than a tap-in.
Rose is playing with Jon Rahm in the first fourballs match of the day.
Rahm and Koepka settled for par.

Thousands of fans are filling up the massive grandstand behind the first tee at the Ryder Cup in the dark, anticipating the start of matches between two of the strongest teams ever assembled for the matches.
The stadium-like grandstand at Le Golf National holds nearly 7,000 people, and thousands more are taking up space down the fairway as Europe sets out to defend its turf. The Americans are coming off a Ryder Cup victory two years ago in Minnesota. They have not won in Europe since 1993.
U.S. Open and PGA champion Brooks Koepka will partner with Tony Finau in the opening fourballs match against Justin Rose and Jon Rahm. Tiger Woods and Patrick Reed are in the anchor match.
