Stormy Daniels’ lawyer wants more of Thursday’s hearings.
Michael Avenatti wrote on Twitter that his client Julie Swetnick “is demanding the opportunity to be heard, together with at least one supporting witness.”
He posted a note to the Senate Judiciary Committee he had sent Thursday afternoon that asked the panel to “please confirm that my client and the supporting witness(es) will be permitted to testify under oath before the committee.”
“Under no circumstances should a vote be taken on the nominee without first hearing from my client and the supporting witness(es),” he wrote.
My client Julie Swetnick is demanding the opportunity to be heard, together with at least one supporting witness. The Committee is refusing to get back to us and allow the testimony. I just sent the below email. My client deserves the right to be placed under oath and testify. pic.twitter.com/yLKmSULxbl

In his Twitter post, Mr. Avenatti blamed the panel, saying that “the Committee is refusing to get back to us and allow the testimony.”
Ms. Swetnick said that she attended about 10 parties where the future Supreme Court nominee and his friend Mark Judge ran gang rapes on intoxicated women. The initial statement pointedly did not accuse Judge Kavanaugh of assaulting her or anyone else, saying only that he was present. She also did not name any of the other people supposedly at these parties.
