Christine Blasey Ford’s attorney has provided signed statements from four people that back her allegations of sexual assault against Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh, USA Today reported Wednesday.
USA Today and NBC News obtained the four documents Wednesday sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday from Ms. Blasey Ford’s husband and three of her friends.

Adela Gildo-Mazzon, a friend of Ms. Blasey Ford’s for at least 10 years, said she found out about the allegations five years ago. She wrote that Ms. Blasey Ford explained that she was “almost raped by someone who was now a federal judge.”
Keith Koegler, who coached baseball for Ms. Blasey Ford’s son, was told about the assault in 2016 while he and Ms. Blasey Ford were discussing Brock Turner’s rape sentence.
He said that it wasn’t brought up again until June 2018, after Justice Anthony Kennedy resigned and mentioned in an email that her attacker was President Trump’s potential Supreme Court pick. Mr. Koegler said he asked what his name was, and Ms. Blasey Ford said “Brett Kavanaugh.”
Rebecca White, a third friend and neighbor who knew Ms. Blasey Ford for at least six years, said she was told in 2017.
Ms. White explained that she had shared her own experience with sexual assault online, and Ms. Blasey Ford confided in her in light of that post. She also wrote that Ms. Blasey Ford said her attacker was a federal judge.
Russell Ford, her husband, also submitted a statement detailing how he found out about the incident during a counseling session in 2012.
Ms. Blasey Ford claims that Judge Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed and sexually assaulted her at a high school party in the 1980s.
On Sunday, a second woman, Deborah Ramirez, came forward in The New Yorker and claimed Judge Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a college party during their freshman year at Yale.
Judge Kavanaugh denies all allegations against him.
Both Ms. Blasey Ford and Judge Kavanaugh are scheduled to testify on Thursday.
