The legal team for Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh submitted pages from the detailed calendar he kept in the summer of 1982 to the Senate Judiciary Committee, ahead of the hearing to address allegations of sexual assault against him.
USA Today obtained and published five pages that the Kavanaugh team submitted Tuesday night.
Ms. Blasey Ford, who claims Judge Kavanaugh assaulted her during a party while they were both in high school, cannot remember the exact date but believes it was during the summer of 1982.
The pages provided span four months from that summer — May through August.
During at least three weekends in May, Judge Kavanaugh notes that he was grounded. He had exams during the first week in June, followed by a weeklong trip to the beach. It also included references to chores, like mowing the lawn.
There were at least four references to parties and several beach trips with friends on the weekends.

On June 25, there is a note to “go to party” but the photo makes it unclear where or with whom the event was supposed to be with.
At least two notes referenced Mark Judge and “PJ,” two names also associated with the allegations of sexual assault. Both Mr. Judge and “PJ” are included in a note on July 1. On July 28, he was supposed to “go to Judge’s.”
Ms. Blasey Ford said Mr. Judge was in the room at the time when Judge Kavanaugh assaulted her as a teenager. He has denied that accusation in a statement to the Judiciary Committee.
Patrick Smyth came forward to identify himself as “PJ,” one of the four boys Ms. Blasey Ford said were at the party. In a statement to the Judiciary Committee, he also denied knowing anything about the party.
