Four of the Washington Wizards’ five preseason games next month will be televised by NBC Sports Washington, including their final exhibition game against a Chinese club.
Only the Wizards’ fourth game on the slate, a contest at the Detroit Pistons, will not be broadcast locally, according to the NBA’s master schedule released Wednesday.
In case you missed it, here is the Wizards’ full preseason schedule:
- New York Knicks at Wizards, Monday, Oct. 1, 7 p.m., NBC Sports Washington
- Miami Heat at Wizards, Friday, Oct. 5, 7 p.m., NBC Sports Washington
- Wizards at New York Knicks, Monday, Oct. 8, 7:30 p.m., NBC Sports Washington
- Wizards at Detroit Pistons, Wednesday, Oct. 10, 7 p.m., Fox Sports Detroit
- Guangzhou Long-Lions at Wizards, Friday, Oct. 12, 7 p.m., NBC Sports Washington
It will be the second straight season the Long-Lions, a Chinese Basketball Association team, play a preseason game at Washington.
The Wizards then host the Heat on Thursday, Oct. 18 to open the regular season.
