PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) - Frontier Airlines says it will now offer flights out of the Portsmouth International Airport.
Frontier will be the second airline to offer flights there with non-stop services to Orlando, Florida. Pease Development Authority Executive Director David Mullen tells the Portsmouth Herald that Frontier’s could help the airport attract other airlines.
Currently, Allegiant Airlines also offers flights to several Florida cities and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Mullen says Allegient does all of its own flight booking, while Frontier allows third-party vendors.
Mullen hopes a year from now Frontier will have added more flights out of Pease International Tradeport, where the airport is located.
