Presidential daughter Ivanka Trump put a damper Tuesday evening on a day of speculation that she might replace Nikki Haley as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.

Ms. Trump took to Twitter to say she was happy with her role in the White House and as an informal ambassador.

“It is an honor to serve in the White House alongside so many great colleagues and I know that the President will nominate a formidable replacement for Ambassador Haley. That replacement will not be me,” she wrote.

Earlier in the day, Ms. Trump had tweeted out a photo of Ms. Haley with herself and husband Jared Kushner, congratulating the outgoing envoy as a “true blessing in our lives.”
