After Khabib Nurmagomedov beat Conor McGregor in UFC 229 Saturday in Las Vegas, the fight continued outside the octagon and led to three members of Nurmagomedov’s team being arrested.
Nurmagomedov, a Russian, won by fourth-round submission over the famously fiery Irishman. But minutes later, Nurmagomedov attacked McGregor’s jiu-jitsu coach, leading to a brawl in T-Mobile Arena.
UFC president Dana White said the organization could strip Nurmagomedov of the lightweight title depending on if and how long he is suspended.
Publicly, McGregor had little to say after the loss and ensuing incident:

McGregor himself is facing charges of assault and criminal mischief in New York for instigating an altercation and breaking the glass windows of Nurmagomedov’s bus at UFC 223 media day last spring.
