White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said Friday that more Democrats should come on board to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
Asked by reporters if the White House was worried about losing Republican Senators before the vote Saturday, she said the movement should be in the other direction.
“Honestly, I think a lot of Democrats should change their mind and do the right thing and [confirm] Judge Kavanaugh,” said Mrs. Sanders.
She said there should be enough votes to get Judge Kavanaugh across the finish line.
“Look, the president supports his nominee and wants to see him get confirmed,” she said.
