MADISON, Wis. (AP) - The Latest on Wisconsin elections (all times local):
12:15 p.m.
Former Democratic Vice President Joe Biden is calling for more civility and dignity in politics, casting next week’s midterm election as a “battle for America’s soul.”
Biden told about 1,000 supporters at a rally on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus that now is the time to “reset the moral compass.”
Democratic candidate for governor Tony Evers and U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin joined with Biden at the event. He was also campaigning at a Milwaukee labor hall later Tuesday before heading to Iowa for an event.
Biden is offering a sharp rebuke of President Donald Trump, saying to restore the character of the country, people of character must be elected.
Biden says, “Americans already know who Donald Trump is. The question is, ’Who are we?’”

Former Vice President Joe Biden is telling college students on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus that if they vote, they can “own” next week’s election.
Biden spoke to about 1,000 people at the rally Tuesday where he was joined by U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin and Democratic candidate for governor Tony Evers.
Biden is a potential 2020 candidate for president. He is calling for more civility in politics, especially after the killing of 11 Jewish people at a Pittsburgh synagogue.
Biden says, “we’re so much better than this.” He says, “It’s up to our leaders to change the tone in both parties, to dial the temperature down, to restore some dignity to our national debate.”
As Biden was campaigning for Democrats, President Donald Trump’s son Eric Trump was campaigning with Republican Senate candidate Leah Vukmir.

Democratic U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin is campaigning with former Vice President Joe Biden on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, while her Republican rival is traveling the state with President Donald Trump’s son.
Biden was holding early voting rallies Tuesday at UW-Madison and a union hall in Milwaukee. Vukmir was holding events with Eric Trump in Sheboygan, Kronenwetter which is near Wausau and Wisconsin Rapids.
Polls show Baldwin has a lead over Vukmir with the election a week away.
Baldwin released her closing argument campaign ad Tuesday, in which voters voice support for Baldwin, saying he’s fighting the opioid crisis, standing up for veterans and making sure that health care is affordable.

Republican Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s campaign is benefiting from some big-dollar donations in the final weeks of the campaign.
Reports filed with the state Ethics Commission show the state Republican Party received $1.5 million from Beloit businesswoman Diane Hendricks on Oct. 22, the last day of the seven-week filing period.
The party also received $1 million from Marlene Ricketts, the wife of Joe Ricketts, the billionaire owner of the Chicago Cubs and founder of TD Ameritrade.
The party transferred $2.8 million and $709,000 of in-kid contributions to Walker’s campaign in the reporting period, helping to fuel the $7.7 million he reported raising between Sept. 1 and Oct. 22.
Evers faces Democrat Tony Evers in next week’s election. Evers raised $6 million over the same time period.
