LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A Little Rock police officer has been charged with sexual assault after he allegedly asked a woman to perform oral sex while transporting her in his patrol vehicle.

KATV reports that an affidavit for the arrest of Officer Brandon Johnson was filed in district court Thursday.

According to the affidavit, Johnson allegedly responded to an early morning call last month about a suspicious person. A woman was sleeping in a truck and told Johnson she’d been drinking. The woman said Johnson told her he could take her to jail but offered her a ride home instead.

She claims he pulled over in a church parking lot and asked for oral sex. She says she complied because she didn’t want to go to jail.

Johnson was relieved of duty last month.
