Despite seeing her poll numbers sink after voting against Supreme Court Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh, Sen. Heidi Heitkamp’s campaign has received more than $12 million in donations during the first two weeks of October.

From Oct. 1 to Oct. 17, Ms. Heitkamp, North Dakota Democrat, received roughly $12.4 million, the majority of which came from from individual donors, according to a recent filing with the Federal Elections Commission.

The substantial amount of contributions come after recent polls have shown Ms. Heitkamp go from a four-point deficit to a 16-point deficit following her vote against President Trump’s pick for the high court in her race against Republican Rep. Kevin Cramer, a Trump ally.

Ms. Heitkamp announced Oct. 4 she would vote against Justice Kavanaugh, citing the sexual misconduct allegations against him.
