President Trump slammed “lowly rated” CNN Friday for blaming him for a series of suspected pipe bombs mailed to prominent Democrats.
“Funny how lowly rated CNN, and others, can criticize me at will, even blaming me for the current spate of Bombs and ridiculously comparing this to September 11th and the Oklahoma City bombing, yet when I criticize them they go wild and scream, “it’s just not Presidential!” the president tweeted at 3:14 a.m.
Many on the left, including the network, have blamed Mr. Trump’s campaign rhetoric against Democrats for inciting a person or person to mail the devices to people including former President Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
