South Carolina company making supplements to add 225 jobs

LANCASTER, S.C. (AP) - A company that makes nutritional supplements is expanding its operations in South Carolina, adding 225 new jobs.

The South Carolina Commerce Department said in a news release that Nutramax Laboratories will add the jobs at its buildings in Lancaster County.

Nutramax is spending $20 million on the expansion.

Hiring is to begin immediately.

The company began in 1992.
