Running back Chris Thompson (rib/knee) and wide receivers Paul Richardson Jr. (shoulder/knee) and Jamison Crowder (ankle) are inactive for the Washington Redskins’ Week 7 tilt against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, leaving the Washington offense thin at skill positions.
Coach Jay Gruden ruled Crowder out earlier in the week and listed Richardson as doubtful. Thompson entered Sunday labeled questionable on the injury report, but ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported Saturday night that Thompson was not expected to play.
Thompson and Crowder are missing their second straight games.
Cornerback Quinton Dunbar was also scratched. Dunbar appeared on the injury report Friday with a shin injury and was questionable to play.
“Dunbar has got a little shin contusion and we’re trying to get to the bottom of it,” Gruden said Friday, though he was optimistic the corner would be able to go sunday.
Running back Adrian Peterson and guard Shawn Lauvao, meanwhile, will play, and rookie cornerback Adonis Alexander will make his NFL debut. Here is the full inactives list:
