The Denver Broncos are listening to trade offers for wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, according to ESPN.

Thomas has 33 catches for 372 yard and three touchdowns this season. But the 30-year-old’s production has declined in recent years, with Thomas failing to finish with at least 1,000 yards last season for the first time since 2011.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, teams have called about Thomas’ availability and Denver hasn’t “rebuffed those advances to date.”

The NFL’s trade deadline is Oct. 30.

So why would the Broncos trade their five-time Pro Bowler? The Broncos have been impressed by second-rounder Courtland Sutton, who has 14 receptions for 246 yards and two touchdowns. Trading Thomas would allow Sutton to see more playing time.

It’s not known if the Redskins were one of the teams who called about Thomas.

The Redskins, however, are thin at wide receiver with Jamison Crowder (ankle) out and Paul Richardson (shoulder, knee) nursing multiple injuries. From a talent standpoint, Thomas would be an upgrade for the unit overall.

Thomas has one year left on his five-year, $70 million contract after this season.
