NEW ROCKFORD, N.D. (AP) - A 49-year-old man was killed when his pickup collided with a freight train in north central North Dakota.
The Highway Patrol says the crash happened late Tuesday west of New Rockford.
KQDJ reports the man from Sheyenne was crossing the railroad tracks when his pickup collided with an eastbound BNSF train. He died at the scene. No one on the train was hurt.
The victim’s name was not immediately released. The Highway Patrol is investigating.
