Dez Bryant is back. And he’s ready to throw up the X.

The former Cowboys receiver agreed to a one-year contract Wednesday with the New Orleans Saints. Bryant joins an NFC contender and a Hall of Fame-caliber quarterback in Drew Brees.

Bryant confirmed the deal on Twitter:

Bryant had been out of football since being released in April. He reportedly turned down an offer from the Baltimore Ravens and worked out for the Browns in August.

The receiver-needy Saints tried out Bryant on Tuesday. New Orleans has a talented cast of playmakers, but are thin at the position, outside of star Michael Thomas.

The Saints play the Cowboys on Nov. 29.
