Rihanna sent a cease-and-desist to President Trump an in attempt to block him from playing her music at his MAGA rallies, the Rolling Stone reported Monday night.
The music magazine obtained a letter from the pop star’s legal team addressed to the White House counsel.
“It has come to our attention that President Trump has utilized [Rihanna’s] musical compositions and master recordings, including her hit track ’Don’t Stop the Music,’ in connection with a number of political events held across the United States,” the letter read. “As you are or should be aware, Ms. Fenty has not provided her consent to Mr. Trump to use her music. Such use is therefore improper.”
Rihanna, born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, took legal action after learning her music was played at Trump rallies from The Washington Post’s White House Bureau chief Philip Rucker.

Rihanna is one of several other musicians upset that their music is used to promote Mr. Trump’s MAGA rallies, including Axl Rose, Pharrell Williams, and the Prince estate.
