HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) - Darius Banks scored 22 points with seven steals, nine rebounds and five assists, leading four players in double figures as James Madison led from start to finish, defeating Division III East Mennonite 86-58 Tuesday night.
Banks made 9 of 13 shots as James Madison was 35 for 72 (49 percent) from the floor. Matt Lewis and Stuckey Mosley added 15 apiece for the Dukes with Greg Jones scoring 14. Dwight Wilson pulled down 12 rebounds, 10 off the defensive glass, and scored eight points.
Sammy Thomas scored 11 and Xavier McCants 10 for the Royals.
The larger Dukes outrebounded East Mennonite 44-35 and had nine blocked shots and 14 steals. Mosley began the second half with a 3-pointer, added a steal and a fast-break layup as James Madison started with a 7-2 spurt.
