CANTON, Ga. (AP) - The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the National Shooting Sports Foundation are offering a $5,000 reward for information about guns stolen from a Georgia store.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports each organization is offering $2,500 for information that leads to a conviction in the Wednesday theft from a Canton firearms store. ATF agent Arthur Peralta says in an agency statement that firearms trafficking is a serious offense that can result in significant federal prison time.
