CENTRAL

AUSTIN: Water stained; 65-73 degrees; 0.73 feet low. Black bass are slow to fair on Texas rigs, spoons and jigs. Sunfish are fair on cut nightcrawlers and corn. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

BASTROP: Water stained; 70-74 degrees. Black bass are good on spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and chartreuse Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are slow and pink/white tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are good on frozen shrimp and bloodbait. Yellow catfish are fair on live perch.

BELTON: Water murky; 69-73 degrees; 6.02 feet high. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

BROWNWOOD: Water murky; 70-74 degrees; 0.73 feet high. Black bass are fair on June bug worms, buzzbaits, and watermelon red soft plastic worms. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are fair on Li’l Fishies and crankbaits off lighted docks at night. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are fair on shrimp and nightcrawlers. Yellow catfish are slow.

BUCHANAN: Water murky; 69-73 degrees; 1.93 feet low. Black bass are fair on white spinnerbaits, Rat-L-Traps, and white/chartreuse crankbaits in 8-20 feet. Striped bass are good on Zara Spooks, Red Fins, and drifting or free lining live bait in 25-40 feet on the surface early. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on watermelon tube jigs and live minnows. Channel catfish are good on liver, minnows, and cheesebait. Yellow and blue catfish are good on live shad.

CANYON LAKE: Water murky; 71-75 degrees; 0.53 feet high. Black bass are fair on watermelon red Whacky Sticks on wacky rigs, Smokin’ Green Devil’s Tongues on drop shot rigs, and Texas rigged 6-inch pumpkin Scoundrel worms in 12-25 feet. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on Li’l Fishies at night. Smallmouth bass are fair on smoke grubs and 3/16-oz. pumpkin jigs in 12-28 feet early. Crappie are fair on minnows upriver. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are good on trotlines and juglines baited with live goldfish and perch.

COLEMAN: Water murky; 70-74 degrees; 0.14 feet low. Black bass are fair on chartreuse crankbaits and watermelon red soft plastic worms. Hybrid striper are slow. Crappie are fair on live minnows and blue tube jigs. Channel catfish are good on stinkbait, shrimp, and liver. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLORADO RIVER: (At Colorado Bend State Park) No report available.

FAYETTE: Water murky. Black bass are good on shad colored soft plastics early. Red ear perch are good on worms in 2-10 feet. Channel and blue catfish are slow

GRANBURY: Water murky; 70-74 degrees; 0.30 feet low. Black bass are fair on watermelon spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and soft plastics off points. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on minnows and pet spoons. Crappie are good on minnows and green tube jigs. Catfish are good on stinkbait and shrimp.

GRANGER: Water murky; 69-73 degrees; 0.44 feet high. Black bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

LBJ: Water murky; 68-72 degrees; 1.02 feet low. Black bass are fair on buzzbaits, clear swim baits, and chartreuse Whacky Sticks in 2-12 feet at daylight. Striped bass are good on Li’l Fishies at night. White bass are fair on Li’l Fishies at night. Crappie are fair on white tube jigs and live minnows over brush piles. Channel catfish are good on minnows and liver. Yellow and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait.

NAVARRO MILLS: Water murky; 67-71 degrees; 8.94 feet high. Black bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are slow. Blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

FAIRFIELD: Water lightly stained. Black bass are slow on Texas rigged craws, bladed jigs and weightless Senkos. No report on other species.

GIBBONS CREEK: Water murky. Black bass are fair on chartreuse/black soft plastics, spinnerbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are fair on minnows and blue tube jigs. Catfish are fair on stinkbait, frozen shrimp, and live bait.

HOUSTON COUNTY: Water murky; 66-70 degrees; 0.16 feet high. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits, soft plastics, and Rat-L-Traps. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on live minnows around brush in 20 feet. Bream are good on live worms. Channel and blue catfish are fair on juglines baited with live bait. Yellow catfish are slow.

LIVINGSTON: Water stained; 71-75 degrees; 0.28 feet high. Black bass are fair on chartreuse Rat-L-Traps and crankbaits. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on Li’l Fishies. Crappie are fair on minnows. Blue catfish are fair on shad and cut bait. Yellow catfish are slow.

PANHANDLE

GREENBELT: Water off color; 54-62 degrees; 36.43 feet low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow to fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

MACKENZIE: Water stained; 56-63 degrees; 78 feet low. Black bass are slow on Texas rigs and jigs. Crappie are slow to fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers.

MEREDITH: Water fairly clear; 51-63 degrees; 49.27 feet low. No reports on black bass. No reports of smallmouth. There are a few reports of walleye being caught on live bait and artificials. Bream and channel catfish are being caught in limited numbers.

WEST

ALAN HENRY: Water clear main lake, stained up the river; 57-64 degrees; 4.28 feet low. Black bass are slow on Texas rigs. Crappie are slow. Catfish are fair on cut and live bait.

ARROWHEAD: Water stained; 55-63 degrees; 0.12 feet low. Black bass are fair dead-sticking weighted soft plastics. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

COLORADO CITY: Water fairly clear; 56-64 degrees; 12.06 feet low. Black bass are slow to fair on weighted soft plastics fished slowly - also dead sticked. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

FORT PHANTOM HILL: Water stained; 43-51 degrees; 0.66 feet high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs, shakyheads and jigs. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows around deeper structure. Catfish are good on live and cut bait.

HUBBARD CREEK: Water stained; 43-48 degrees; 0.03 feet low. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs and drop shot rigs. Crappie are fair on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on live and cut bait.

NASWORTHY: Water stained; 42-49 degrees; 0.63 feet low. Black bass are slow on Texas rigs and shakyheads. No reports on crappie. Catfish are fair to good on live bait and nightcrawlers.

OAK CREEK: Water stained; 43-50 degrees; 0.53 feet high. Black bass are slow on Texas rigs and drop shot rigs. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on live and cut bait.

O.H. IVIE: Water stained; 44-52 degrees; 20.21 feet low. Black bass are fair dead-sticking Senkos, on Texas rigs and jigs. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on cut and live bait.

POSSUM KINGDOM: Water fairly clear; 47-53 degrees; 0.1 feet high. Black bass are slow to fair on drop shot rigs, jigs, Texas rigs and shakyheads. Crappie are fair on live minnows and jigs around structure. White bass are fair to good on slabs. Striped bass are fair on live shad. Catfish are fair on live and cut bait.

SPENCE: 37.17 feet low. Black bass are slow on Texas rigs. No report on crappie. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers.

STAMFORD: Water stained to muddy; 52-63 degrees; 1.12 feet high. Black bass are fair on shakyheads, Texas rigs and Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are fair on live minnows around structure. White bass are fair to good on slabs. Blue catfish are fair to good on cut and live bait.

SWEETWATER: Water stained; 56-64 degrees; 0.16 feet high. This lake is currently experiencing a fish kill due to golden alga. Biologists are monitoring the situation and will post updates as they become available. Fish populations have been substantially reduced by the golden alga blooms.

WHITE RIVER: Water stained; 43-49 degrees; 23.04 feet low. Black bass are slow to fair on Texas rigs and jigs. Crappie are slow on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers.

COASTAL

NORTH SABINE: Trout are good under birds and pods of shad on soft plastics. Redfish and flounder are good in the marsh on shrimp.

SOUTH SABINE: Trout are good under birds and pods of shad. Redfish are good at the jetty on live bait and cracked crabs. Flounder are fair at the mouths of the bayous on a falling tide.

BOLIVAR: Trout, black drum, sand trout and redfish are good at Rollover Pass. Trout are fair to good while drifting shell on plastics. Trout are good under the birds around the pass.

TRINITY BAY: Water remains off-colored due to freshwater.

EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout and are good for drifters working deep shell on plastics and fresh shrimp. Redfish and flounder are fair to good in the marsh around drains on shrimp.

WEST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are good for waders working topwaters along the shorelines. Bull redfish and flounder are good at San Luis Pass on shrimp and shad. Sheepshead, redfish and black drum are good at the jetty on shrimp and crabs.

TEXAS CITY: Flounder are fair along the channel on Gulps and Chicken Boy Lures. Redfish are fair to good in Moses Lake on crabs and shrimp. Gulf trout are good in the channel on fresh shrimp.

FREEPORT: Bull redfish are good around Surfside and at the Quintana jetty on crabs, shrimp and mullet. Trout are good in Christmas Bay on live shrimp over the reefs.

EAST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are good for drifters on soft plastics and Corkies over humps and scattered shell and birds. Redfish are good under liar birds.

WEST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair on sand and grass humps on soft plastics and topwaters. Redfish are good on live shrimp at Shell Island, Mad Island and Oyster Lake

PORT O’CONNOR: Redfish are good in the back lakes on shrimp and mullet. Bull redfish are good at the jetty on crabs, mullet and shad. Trout are fair to good on the reefs in San Antonio Bay on live shrimp.

ROCKPORT: Trout are good on reefs on live bait. Redfish are good in Redfish Bay on mullet and crabs. Bull redfish are good in the channel on shrimp and crabs.

PORT ARANSAS: Redfish are fair at Shamrock Cove and Pelican Island on topwaters and Gulps. Bull redfish are good at the jetty and on the beachfront on natural baits.

CORPUS CHRISTI: Bull redfish are good in the surf on mullet and shrimp. Trout are fair for waders working mud and grass on small topwaters and Corkies.

BAFFIN BAY: Trout are good over deep rocks on plum Bass Assassins, Gamblers, Down South Lures and Bull Minnows. Redfish are fair to good in the Land Cut on shrimp and crabs.

PORT MANSFIELD: Redfish are fair to good while drifting pot holes on topwaters and soft plastics under a popping cork. Trout are fair to good on the edge of the Intracoastal on plastics and Gulps.

SOUTH PADRE: Trout are good on plastics under a popping cork over mud and grass. Redfish are fair to good on the Gas Well Flats on DOA Shrimp and Gulps.

PORT ISABEL: Trout are good while drifting grass on plastics under popping corks. Redfish are fair at Airport Cove on shrimp and DOA Shrimp and Gulps under popping corks.
