Bradley Beal denied a report Monday that stated the Washington Wizards guard wanted to be traded “pronto.”

Last week, ESPN reported the Wizards were willing to listen to trade offers for Beal and co-star John Wall when Washington got off to a slow start. Details of an explosive practice were also leaked to the media.

But after Washington’s 135-131 overtime win over the Rockets, Beal said he wants to remain with the Wizards.

“That’s nonsense,” Beal told NBA TV. “I heard it earlier before the game and I was like, ‘If it didn’t come from the horse’s mouth, it wasn’t me.’ I got this Washington jersey on and I come here and work every day, you know, until otherwise. This is where I wanna be.”

Since the Wizards’ 2-9 start, the team has won six of its last nine games.
