Happy Thanksgiving, Redskins fans, and for the third year in a row, are you ready for some football?
The 6-4 Washington Redskins will look to defend their NFC East lead Thursday when they visit hated rival Dallas Cowboys, who are now just one game back in the standings. Let us give you everything you need to know before the game.
Opponent: Dallas Cowboys (5-5, 2-1 NFC East)
Where: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas
When: Thursday, Nov. 22, 4:30 p.m. ET (3:30 p.m. CT)
Television: Fox
Radio: The Team 980
What to watch for: Colt McCoy will get his first start at quarterback since 2014. His last win as a starter? It came that year at Dallas, a 20-17 win in which McCoy completed 25-for-30 passes and scored a rushing touchdown … 20-17 was also the score in these teams’ first matchup of this season, a close Redskins win at FedEx Field that included a Washington defensive touchdown and a snap infraction called on the Cowboys’ long snapper when they tried to line up a last-second, game-tying field goal … The day after that game, the Cowboys acquired wide receiver Amari Cooper from Jay Gruden’s brother and the Oakland Raiders. Cooper has caught 14 passes for 169 yards and one touchdown in his first three games wearing a star on his helmet … Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup is back with the team and expected to play in the game. He was with his family in the wake of his brother’s suicide, which he learned about Sunday.
